This deep edged canvas piece has the appearance of an old patina wall. Soft neutral hues were washed over an under painting of inky blue and some collaged paper script. The edges of the canvas are rubbed back to give a weathered edge exposing a hint of blue that gives dimension, and top right draws the eye with an intriguing flash of deep red print that has been reverse transfered into the paint.
Titled ‘ Forgotten’ as a nod to bygone beauty in it’s aged appearance.
